Wines with the taste of the terroir
The department of Yonne is situated in the northern part of Burgundy, a region well known for its fresh and aromatic wines.
The 20 hectares of vineyards of the Domaine BERSAN are characterized by calcareous, marly and clay rich soils, which exert great influence on the more ore less fruity aromas of the wines.
These soils on Jurassic bedrocks (Thithonian and Kimmeridgian) guarantee for products of genuine traditional origin offered to the wine drinker.
In designing their wines, Jean-Louis and Jean-Christophe rely upon different grapes varieties like Aligoté, Chardonnay, Sauvignon blanc, Pinot noir, César and Gamey.
The vineyards of the domain are situated in different geographical zones: Saint-Bris, Chablis and Irancy.
